Greenroom in particular provides a unique way to connect with music and playlists. Why are you so excited to use the platform?

Max: I’m excited about the platform because I think it gives a great opportunity to have a conversation. Usually when it comes to music it is a direction and in fact it is difficult to host a lecture about it. I think Greenroom will provide a unique place for music fans to connect, have conversations and celebrate music.

I will: I am very excited about this opportunity because I think the greenroom will be a fun, casual place for everyone to have conversations about music, fashion and pop culture. I am honored to be able to represent Lorem Playlist, as it is always filled with great artists. I’m especially excited to do a show with Max because we always have such great conversations offline too! Holding a ceremony together in the greenroom is really obvious, it will be an interesting experience for everyone.

What are the differences between Spotify Greenroom and Twitch?

Max: I think one of the obvious differences is the video of TickTock and Twitch, but one feature of the Greenroom that is really great is the opportunity to talk directly to the fans in the room. I think the opportunity to hear their voices instead of being limited to users ’comments provides a really nice place where the conversation is not one-sided.

I will: Since you don’t have to show your face in the greenroom, the stress of worrying about your appearance has been removed from the table. Not just for the organizers, but for the visitors who want to join the convoy.

How did the transition from social media personality to live-audio host come about?

Max: I think no one could have imagined the jump as hard as it was. Having been creating video content for over a year, I have felt really comfortable behind the camera and talking to music. I come from a background in college radio, which I am sure will come in handy. In the end I am really excited about this opportunity, especially my close friend Deb and to do it with the Lorem community, which I am very excited about.

I will: I actually started entertaining as an actress in my high school theater club, so I have strong roots in live entertainment. I like to do things predetermined for social media because I have more control over the final product, but I’m really looking forward to the clarity of hosting a live show. It will give you a chance to have fun, off-the-cuff moments that we never thought would happen if this show was scripted. I’m excited to feed Max and the guests energy!
