If you’re a big fan of Winnie the Pooh, you’re probably already aware that AA Milne’s classic stories turn 95 (!!!) this year. To celebrate, you will soon be able to book a special overnight experience in the UK.
We have now seen in the past some extravagant Disney-inspired houses, including a house designed by the architect who helped build Sleeping Beauty Castle. But we do not believe that you are prepared for the extreme tenderness that we are about to share with you.
Check out this adorable Winnie the Pooh-themed tree house on Airbnb. Yes, this is a REAL tree house where you can sleep.
The house designer worked for The Walt Disney Company as an artist for over 30 years and have teamed up with experts to bring Winnie the Pooh’s tree house to life, as depicted in the tales of the AA Milne. Just look at this door with “Mr. Sanders ”listed above!
The house is located in Ashdown Forest in Nutley, England, which was the inspiration behind the Hundred Acre Wood. It can accommodate four people between a double bed on the ground floor and two single beds on the mezzanine floor which is accessed by wooden stairs.
There are small details throughout the property that remind fans of Winnie the Pooh, including the outdoor table.
The house can only be booked for UK residents at this time. When bookings are posted on Monday 20 September, it will only be available for two independent one night stays. And in case you were wondering, the listing specifically states that “There’s strictly no hephalfal inside the house.”
To be totally honest, we would move into this house if given the chance. We’ll keep looking for Disney-inspired houses like this to share with you, so be sure to follow them!
