As we prepare to celebrate the magical 50 years of Walt Disney World Resort, we also celebrate the role that cast members have played in realizing Walt Disney World’s legacy for five decades and counting.

From the original cast members and Imagineers who opened Walt Disney World Resort 50 years ago to the cast members who just started their careers at Disney today for everyone, all cast members have made lasting memories for both guests as for magic companions.

To honor our cast members and the unforgettable magic they perform, Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle and the world’s most magical celebration ambassador, George A. Kalogridis, joined the cast members of Walt Disney World. areas of Walt Disney World and revealed a special message dedicating Disney Fab 50 golden sculptures of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in front of Cinderella Castle to form members of the past, present and future.
