With Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebrations fast approaching, we’ve been watching all the parks get the finishing touches in preparation.
Statues of golden characters have appeared in the four parks (and there are more), more opening dates for recently reinvented restaurants have been announced, and we’ve even been able to see the menu coming to California Grill for the exclusive 50th anniversary. experience! I, now an iconic Disney World store will reopen just in time on October 1st.
In March, the main street confectionery was closed for a lengthy renovation until its 50th anniversary. But recently, the building walls surrounding the store collapsed and now the Disney website lists this sweet spot will reopen on September 29th.
During the closing, Disney has been reinvent the space with an updated design and new “interactive opportunities” to personalize your sweets and candies. They haven’t shared many details about what these new experiences entail, but we’ll be alert to take a look.
The store is currently listed reopens Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and then opens every day in Magic Kingdom.
