Get ready to receive news that will make you happy: the Main Street Confectionery hosted by Mars Wrigley will reopen on September 29 at Magic Kingdom Park, just in time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort.
With new interactive opportunities to customize your garments and a new look everywhere, Main Street Confectionery is your perfect place to enjoy delicious treats. It is also where you can see handmade confectionery magic.
When you walk into this charming turn-of-the-century candy store, one of the first novelties you’ll see is the colorful candy wall, which includes 38 varieties of M & M’S and SKITTLES. If you fancy some tasty, sweet taste, you can now personalize your popcorn experience with a variety of combinations. Choose from four flavors of corn popcorn (caramel, rainbow fruit, butter, cheddar) and then top it off with a selection of M & M’S or SKITTLES candies or even with a splash of chocolate to enjoy an extra sweet.
You can even get a spot in the front row of the candy kitchen to see how the cast members make and decorate your favorite items, such as character-inspired candy apples and shredded rice cereal candies from Mickey being crafted and decorated. There are over 30 new items you won’t find anywhere else.
Some of my favorites are the new varieties of fudge, like the Peanut Butter Fudge, which includes creamy peanut butter topping topped with M&M peanut butter candies and drizzled with chocolate. Yum!
Of course, this exclusive Magic Kingdom store will offer limited delights for “The Most Magical Celebration in the World.” These four new sweets will be available starting October 1st.
