In honor of the 50th anniversary of Disney World, Disney is launching a new cookbook with 50 years of special recipes and stories.
If you want to start cooking your Disney cookbook, Disney has taken a look at the recipe for Potatoes Empress Lilly Au Gratin, which look deliciously cheesy. We have tried MANY Disney recipes and are happy to try a new one.
Currently available for pre-booking on Amazon is Disney’s next cookbook, Delicious Disney: Walt Disney World Recipes and stories from the most magical place on Earth. This cookbook is scheduled to be published on April 5, 2022, so this is a great opportunity to start your Disney cooking journey.
This recipe gets its name Walt Disney’s wife, Lillian, who was called Lilly, and remember that her name also inspired the name of the Empress Lilly Riverboat to what is now Disney Springs. The Riverboat opened in 1977 and included a jazz lounge and three restaurants, one of which was Disney World’s most fun dining experience at the time. Empress Lilly Riverboat closed in 1995 and since then Paddlefish has taken her place.
So if you’re ready to cook a special Disney dish, here’s the recipe straight from Disney.
