It was a very, very quiet week for the new movie on Netflix. This does not mean that there is nothing new to see. Our favorite new movies on Netflix have been added between September 19 and September 26, 2021.
If you don’t like something fancy, lots of new titles are coming in the next 7 days in the movie section Destinaton marriage, Bad teacher, Forever rich, Spy Kids, The devil inside And Titanic.
If you need some more Netflix advice and love time drama series, we released our favorites on Monday.
As always, we are now going to pick 5 new movies that you can watch on Netflix now. In most cases, these movies are available worldwide but beware some will vary from region to region.
Article: Comedy, drama
Director: Theodore Melfi
Cast: Melissa McCarthy, Scott MacArthur, Timothy Oliphant
Runtime: 102 minutes
Although most of the focus this week went to Midnight Month, Melissa McCarthy’s big new movie fell on Netflix, which was acquired in April 2020 for 20 million.
At least the movie has been controversial. There are various opinions that make it one of Netflix’s best movies and one of Netflix’s worst movies.
A review by the Chicago Tribune suggests that this type of movie should come to services such as Netflix being financially ineligible in a theatrical drama environment. Their review overall suggests that McCarthy is the only thing that makes everything else “incompetent”.
My little pony: a new generation (2021)
Article: Animation, Adventure, Comedy
Director: Robert Cullen, Jose Lewis Ucha, Mark Fatiben
Cast: James Marsden, Vanessa Hagens, Jane Krakowski
Netflix has secured the rights to a number of animated feature films throughout 2021 that have avoided theatrical releases, and perhaps a new My Little Pony feature film will be a new generation among the latter.
The new movie from the wider universe follows Sunny, a young Earth Tony who adventures with a unicorn in the hopes of saving Equistria and getting things back to normal.
The movie is perfect for kids and fans of the franchise with some great animations and especially great performances by Vanessa Hudgens. A new generation currently carries 7.5 out of 10 on IMDb.
Director: Adam Salkey
Cast: Logan Marshall-Green, Frida Pinto, Robert John Burke
Runtime: 92 minutes
It’s a movie that we had hoped to grow up with word of mouth so far Unauthorized entry, One of many movies coming up as part of Netflix’s Halloween 2021 lineup.
The basis of the movie is a couple who should have their dream home where only a deadly house should be attacked and we follow the next event but things are far away.
Frida Pinto has shown a particularly interesting performance but many reviews have said that the movie is best used.
Ground Aps (2010)
Director: Dennis Dugan
Cast: Adam Sandler, Salma Hayek, Kevin James
Author: Adam Sandler, Fred Wolf
Runtime: 102 minutes
Since you can no doubt say no to action at this point, we weren’t really kidding when we said it was a quiet week for the new movie but we must make progress!
Added earlier this week was a Sony movie titled Adam Sandler and His Famous Gang Grown compromise. It won’t do anything to change your mind at Sandler’s humor if you already dislike it but it’s still my personal choice.
Like watching the first movie endlessly
Dark sky (2013)
Article: Horror, sci-fi, thriller
Director: Scott Stewart
Cast: Kerry Russell, Jake Brennan, Josh Hamilton
Runtime: 97 minutes
As we head into the scary season, we’d like to re-add Dark Skies to Netflix this week. The movie hit Netflix on Sunday last week.
Hasn’t paranormal horror been tested since its release almost a decade ago? Here’s what you can expect:
“Indigenous suburban life of a family is shattered when an alien force attacks their home and when they struggle to convince others of the deadly threat.”
Like all horrors, reviews were mixed at the time of release with which it carried 41% in Rotten Tomatoes and 50% in Metacritic.
Take this. One of the “best” new movies on Netflix is one of the worst roundups we’ve done in a while. Have you had anything fancy this week? Let us know in the comments.
