It’s fall time and the weather in Southern California has been absolutely amazing lately (really, right ?!), but this past weekend was especially beautiful and some of our favorite stars came to play during the holidays. Halloween and Family Square at Disneyland Resort.
Sarah Michelle Gellar was murdered alongside Vampire Mater in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park, where Mater, Lightning McQueen, Cruz, Red and Cars Land residents have transformed the city of Radiator Springs into “Radiator Screams “. It is amazing! Aside from enjoying seeing the cars with their “cottons”, I love checking out all the details of the country this time of year, where car parts, tools, parking cones and more are they have transformed it into a popular spooky Halloween decoration. It’s also a great opportunity to take a tour of the popular Land Land attractions that become Halloween spirit.
Also at the Disney California Adventure Park, actress Eiza González shared a sweet moment with Miguel and the cast of “A Coconut Musical Celebration,” among the shows in the Plaza de la Familia. The Family Square comes to life with folk dancers, Mariachi musicians, delicious food, interactive experiences and “A Coconut Musical Celebration.” The storytellers in the Plaça de la Família bring to life the story, songs and themes of the beloved film “Coco”. You must see this colorful festival; I also recommend ordering the tamal plate at Paradise Garden Grill.
At Disneyland Park, we met Jonathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel on the steps of the Disneyland Railroad train station on Main Street, USA, where Goofy, Donald and Pluto stopped by wearing their best Halloween. I like to walk around here often, as you never know who might pass. There are, of course, other characters throughout the park, including some of my favorite villains.
A few steps away, the couple also posted a photo of Mickey Mouse’s jack-o’-lantern, also known as the most photographed place during the Halloween season at the entire Disneyland Resort. The jack-o’-lantern is the centerpiece of the Main Street Pumpkin Festival which transforms Main Street, USA, with whimsical pumpkins on display everywhere.
Another great location for photography is the exterior of Haunted Mansion Holiday, which features a cheerful makeover of the beloved estate. Jack Skellington is behind the chaos, decorating the mansion with terrifying festive touches inspired by “Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas.” There is magic everywhere.
It is very difficult to choose a favorite! What are your favorite attractions and photos at this time of year?
