Walt Disney World is celebrating its 50th anniversary over the next 18 months, which means there is one Yours of new things you can visit in the parks and resorts.
There will be live shows, fireworks shows, new restaurants and attractions, and lots of of goods to explore. But it wouldn’t be a Disney World celebration without new food and drinks, right? Well, there are over 150 and we head to Casey Corner in Magic Kingdom to try a few.
Located on the corner of Main Street, USA overlooking Cinderella Castle. Casey’s corner it is a favorite place for many park lovers. And, for the 50th anniversary, there are FOUR new menu items to watch with some of Walt Disney’s favorites.
For those who feel a little more adventurous, there are new ones 50th Hot Dog Celebration, which includes a fully veal hot dog with strawberry bacon jam, crisp pieces of funnel cake and powdered sugar. Costa $ 11.99 and comes with a side of fries.
In addition, we also picked up the new one Pressed Penny Silk Pie for dessert! It is made with a shell of chocolate cake, filled with silky chocolate, sweet whipped cream and covered with a squeezed penny of chocolate for $ 6.49
If you head over here to look for a full meal, there’s the new one 1971 Meal (named after the year Magic Kingdom opened). Includes a hot cheese hot dog with chili, french fries, fountain drink and 50th birthday cake $ 19.71
And, if you want to try a favorite from Walt Disney himself, Casey’s Corner has it too Walt’s Chili-Cheese hot dog, all made up of feet, who is a fully calfed hot dog with Walt’s favorite chili recipe $ 13.49
