The TouringPlans Park team can try many foods and drinks. From fast service sites to intermediate food and snack service, we try so many different foods to help keep the information on our site up to date. Sometimes food and drink are wonderful. Other times, not so much. But what is there really? Here are our top 3 food or drink options that the park team tested this week.
Clam Chowder at Columbia Harbor House
Aside from the fact that the clam chowder works well for the Columbia Harbor House theme, it’s a good return. While the idea of clam chowder in Florida may seem nasty, as the fall months set in, this is a dish you’ll want to get. It tastes amazing and while it’s a hearty dish, it’s worth splitting it up to eat.
As for the content, the Toad Burger is nothing out of the ordinary. It’s a brat burger served with lettuce, tomato, pickle and American cheese, with a couple of olives on top for the “eyes”. Let’s be honest, this was created for funny pictures and it works great for that. But according to our park team, it’s also delicious. And who doesn’t like one side of tater all? You can find it at Friar’s Nook.
Lemon chiffon cake
Sometimes you see a dessert that’s almost too pretty to eat – it would be this Lemmon chiffon cake with blueberry mousse at Sunshine Seasons. But I’m sure you’ll want to polish the dish. The flavors of lemon and blueberry always work well together, and this cake is light and refreshing.
