While we were all expecting to release some new footage of the second season at Netflix’s TUDUM event, a release from showrunner Lauren Hisrich surprised us all. Only Shaw-Runner has not officially confirmed Witch Season Two, which has been in development for several months now (as we reported earlier), also announced two new Witcher projects.

The first of these new projects is a second anime film from the Witcher universe. This is not surprising, since the first anime film in the series was well received by fans. There is no word on whether the second anime will be a sequel to the film Two Night Dreams of Wolves And another Vessemi adventure, or if it would tell a completely different story.

Another new vicar project published on TUDUM was a big surprise: Netflix is now creating a “fun kid and family series” set across the continent. Shortly after the release, fans reacted to the show’s series.

“Witcher is a dark, mature universe. I would go further. It’s controversial. Political. A microcosm of humanity, for all its good and evil. By doing so they can be highlighted in a story that kids in this chaotic world desperately need, and can benefit from.

“I’m saying this as an 8-year-old and a 10-year-old mom. They’ve asked me to watch the show. They can’t. It’s not fair, it’s very mature and dark, as you say. But. If I can sit with them and like them. We can see a version in which they can laugh, what they feel is “get them” and their small but meaningful place on earth – but it can also serve as a foundation from which to talk about big things, racism, sex, being a monster. What? And how can we fight against that dark black hole of humanity, so everyone knows there’s a place for them? Don’t? “
