The food culture of the United States is adept at taking cuisines from other countries and making them their own. Pizza is a staple of the U.S. diet now, for example. Another illustration of a food from another culture that the US has made its own is the tac. In the US, we celebrate the Mexican Cinco De Mayo holiday perhaps more than the people who live in Mexico. Now in the US, we celebrate it with alcoholic beverages and tacos. Tuesdays are Taco Tuesdays. And October 4 is National Taco Day.

So how do you enjoy tacos at Universal Orlando? If you’re in the amusement park, you have a choice: Bumblebee Man’s Taco Truck. It is located in the Springfield area, USA, at Universal Studios Florida. The theme comes from the long animated series The Simpsons. This feedstock was opened in August 2013 to enhance the expansion of the Springfield area.

  • Location: Universal Studios Florida
  • Food: Tacos
  • Service: counter service
  • Price: $ 10.99 per ticket
  • Universal dining plan accepted: Yes
  • Classification of travel plans: 89% of the reader’s approval
  • Seats: outside, shading (nearby)

This taco truck features a large Bumblebee man’s head on top. There is a huge stud on the front bumper of this truck. The food truck has a proper paint scheme with black and yellow stripes. There is also a horn sound that often plays a familiar melody. This service is fast, so you go to the truck window to order food. Then wait to get your tacos.

The menu is very simple here. You have tacos! There are three varieties. There is Korean beef that is described as Asian-inspired stewed beef in a warm flour tortilla topped with a tasty, radish-covered cucumber. The second variety is chicken with cheddar cheese, lettuce and homemade sauce served in a warm flour tortilla. The third option is Roast meat with cheddar cheese, lettuce and homemade sauce served in a warm flour tortilla.

For $ 10.99 before any discount, you’ll get two tacos and omelettes. You can get two of the same variety or two different varieties. You can also get a soda (even a Simpsons-themed Buzz Cola), bottled water, and / or Simpsons-themed Duff beer. As you can see, the menu is pretty minimal.

So why should you visit this food truck? The price is reasonable for this quality of food. These tacos are by no means world class. However, they are always equal, if not better, to the tacos offered at any theme park in the Orlando area. I would recommend Korean or Roast Meat. The chicken ones are good, but they don’t taste like the other two. The omelettes are usually very fresh and add to the taco experience. The tacos are also light enough so you can enjoy a quick service meal without feeling heavy as you continue your day in the park. However, the meal is considerable enough to be a suitable lunch or dinner.

This place is not perfect. The queue can be long at busy times of the day. This is especially true in the days of many people. There are seats nearby, but they are not directly connected to this food truck. My biggest complaint is that the menu has been greatly simplified. The nachos have been removed. The sauce and guacamole faces are no longer on the menu. The omelettes included with each meal are worthy, but you have nothing to dive into to enhance the experience.

In my opinion, this dining location is the best dining option in the Springfield, USA area. This is the area with Fast Food Boulevard and two more food places that sell hot dogs. Bumblebee Man’s has a lot of competition to get this top food in the area title. When I suggest people try these tacos, they usually agree. I haven’t heard anyone tell me yet that he’s sorry to have received tacos at Bumblebee Man’s. Some may not be too impressed, but when they have more money to make beer ice cream as they spend less on lunch, they still appreciate it.
