Sure, you can go to Disney World and eat chicken dishes and chips (and that doesn’t happen at all). But, you can also visit Disney World and eat at restaurants with all sorts of unique and delicious dishes created by famous chefs.
At Disney Springs, you can stop by restaurants like Chef Art Smith’s Morimoto Asia or Homecomin ’. Outside of Disney World, you can catch fish and chips at a place created by famed chef Gordon Ramsay. Soon, you can stop by a hotel near Disney World to eat more delicacies created by another famous chef.
Recently, the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress announced it famed chef Richard Blais will open his first restaurant in Orlando at the Hyatt Regency later this year. The Hyatt Regency is located near Disney Springs.
Chef Blais was actually the first winner of Bravo Best star chef. You will soon also be able to see him as the co-star of the new Gordon Ramsay / FOX cooking contest Next level chef. He has worked in several restaurants across the country, is an author nominated for the James Beard Award and has taken on other roles in the culinary world.
Chef Blais graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and “trained at The French Laundry, Daniel, Chez Panisse and the Bulli.”
Chef Blais ’restaurant will take over the Hemingway space that was inside the Hyatt Regency. The new restaurant will have a tropical air and will offer evening and Sunday dinners.
Chef Blais has noted that he likes to “have fun with [his] concepts and menus i [is] excited about what [they’ve] I booked this restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. ”Chef Blais also said,“ We’re looking forward to adding a a memorable and innovative offering for Orlando’s already amazing dining scene. “
Do you want to work in this new restaurant? The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress will host a recruitment event on Tuesday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the resort’s Windsong Ballroom. Available seats include management, cooks, waiters and more.
