There has been a lot of news at Disney World as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations.
We have seen all kinds of new sweets, new products, new fireworks and more. Now, a new gastronomic experience has arrived at a favorite tourist hotel restaurant and we offer you a FIRST LOOK on how it is.
At the top Disney’s Contemporary Resort, you will find a special restaurant, California Grill. California Grill is popular in itself, but for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World, the restaurant offers a different experience.
Instead of the traditional restaurant menu, guests may request a special fixed price menu It offers dishes inspired by the restaurant’s past, as well as some new items.
The new fixed price menu began offering yesterday, October 3rd. Today we had the opportunity to check it out for ourselves. Just like when you normally dine at California Grill, you can register online through the My Disney Experience app and head to the second floor desks.
There, cast members will accompany you to special lifts for California Grill guests. After getting off the elevator, you will enter the beautiful space of California Grill GORGEOUS VIEWS on Magic Kingdom.
Then it’s time to place an order in the fixed price menu. The special fixed price meal includes 1 selection of snacks, 1 starter and 1 dessert.
You can also order an assortment of drinks to accompany your meal.
The three-course meal costs money $ 89 per adult (over 10 years) plus taxes and tips and $ 39 per child (3-9 years).
For adults, there is also one guided wine pairing for an additional $ 39 per guest over 21 years. We opted for a couple of cocktails: the Drop of blueberry lemon and the Icewine Martini.
Children can add a special non-alcoholic drink called Star dust sipper for a An additional $ 11.
Regardless of the selections you choose, start the night Bread service.
Then it was time for the Market inspirations, also known as the snack round!
For our first course, we grabbed the Lobster and parsnip biscuit (a special specialized theme on the 50th anniversary menu) …

Kids can start the meal with one Hearts of Romaine Salad, or a bowl of Noodle soup with chicken.
For our starters, we get the Beef fillet cooked in oak…

…and the Handmade wild mushroom ravioli!
We got the kids too Grilled beef fillet.
Dessert (Sweet Creations), we asked the Five magic bites 50 years ago…
… the Valrhona chocolate cake…
…and the EARidescent Grand Marnier Soufflé!
The possibility of doing so includes the price of food watch Magic Kingdom’s NEW fireworks show, Disney Enchantment, from the private viewing area for California Grill guests (or you can see it directly from the table, depending on the time of the meal).
