Eat, glorious food! Is there a better place in the world for snacks than Walt Disney World? As home to Mickey Bars, Dole Whip, Churros and more, there is a wide variety of sweets. But sometimes you might want something a little tasty. Here are our top picks for every Walt Disney World theme park for savory snacks.
Magic Kingdom: Potstickers and Spring Rolls
Okay, I know we said the first snack, but choosing between these two would be like choosing our favorite child. The potstickers on Sunshine Tree Terrace and the spring rolls on the nearby Adventureland Spring Roll Cart make wonderful snacks. Potstickers are crunchy on the edges and chewy with a salty filling. While flavors can vary, our favorite is the spring roll with cheeseburgers: they’re two great foods that taste good together.
EPCOT: Barbecue Empanadas and German Pretzel
I know, another tie, but can you really decide between the gap as big as your head in Germany and the divine barbecue pies in Mexico? I suggest you try both and see if you can determine one of your favorites. If the German pretzel cart is not open, you can get it at Sommerfest (Germany’s quick location). The barbecue pie can be found in Choza de Margarita, outside the Mexico Pavilion.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Totchos
This one was not open to debate when I asked him. Totchos. TOTchos. TOTCHOS! They’re in Woody’s Lunch Box at Toy Story Land, it’s all about tater (sorry, “potato barrels”) which are then topped with beef chili and beans, shredded cheese, cheese, tomatoes, corn chips , sour cream and green onions. Oh, and did I mention there is a breakfast bowl version with pancake sauce and scrambled eggs? You can never start snacking too early at Walt Disney World.
Animal Kingdom: Buffalo Chicken Chips
Located in Trilo-Bites in Dinoland, USA, there is a small kiosk that serves mainly ice cream preparations. But on the menu, they do have a salty bite: their buffalo chips. The fries are crunchy, with just a touch of tasty spice. The chicken has a slightly gloppy buffalo sauce and there are chopped tomatoes, celery and a creamy marinade to contrast.
