Halloween Horror Nights is best known for bringing our worst nightmares to life, but don’t let a bad hotel choice turn into a real nightmare. In this article, we will discuss the best hotel options for your visit to Halloween Horror Nights.
Universal Express Pass Note: Complementary Universal Express passes offered at the Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Portofino Bay Resort and Loews Royal Pacific Resort are not valid for Halloween horror nights. Universal sells a Halloween Horror Nights express pass for the event.
Hard Rock Hotel: the nearest
If money is not the object, the number one Halloween Horror Nights hotel is the Hard Rock Hotel. In addition to the wonderful restaurants, lounges and pool, the resort has an important x factor: LOCATION.
Hard Rock Hotel is the closest hotel to Universal Studios Florida and Halloween Horror Nights. Most rooms are a ten-minute walk from the park, with some up to four minutes. Not only can you return to your room for a break in the middle of the event, but you will return to your room in record time at the end of the event. That’s why the hotel often books books on event weekends and the remaining rooms are priced higher.
Loews Royal Pacific Resort: The Backup Option
Our second suggestion is Loews Royal Pacific Resort. The Royal Pacific offers a peaceful, modern South Pacific setting with luxurious accommodations. The drive to Universal Studios Florida is longer than from Hard Rock, but prices are usually lower and rooms are available most event weekends. If you want to avoid buses and car parks, staying at the Royal Pacific could be your best option.
Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort – HHN HQ
Cabana Bay Beach Resort built a hobby dedicated to its two pools, a relaxing quiet river, spacious family suites, a bowling alley and a plethora of amazingly priced bars. The hotel then raises the bar for Halloween horror nights with two exclusive amenities for Universal Hotel guests.
The first is a photo-operation of Jack the Clown that takes visitors through the history of the HHN icon. The second is the HHN Icons bar, a temporary relief from the Swizzle Lounge that will showcase costumes and pieces from the history of Horror Nights with a themed drinks and food menu. The Jack the Clown experience and the HHN Icons Bar are open to all guests at the Universal Hotel.
For HHN fans, Cabana Bay is a must-see during your stay.
Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – the cheapest
Sometimes you just need a clean, well-kept place to rest your head at night. Endless Summer is covered, with standard rooms starting at $ 88 per night for a four-night stay and family suites starting at $ 132 per night for a four-night stay. Although prices may be skewed, the hotel is not: Endless Summer offers training facilities, Starbucks, swimming pools, a dining area and free transport to the parks. With annual subscription rates starting at just $ 82 a night, many season ticket holders simply book a night at Endless instead of coming home.
