It turns out that Anthony Gonzalez has a lot in common with Miguel, the character who lends his voice to Disney and Pixar’s “Coco”. Anthony has grown quite a bit since the film’s release in 2017, but his love of singing hasn’t changed; and if Miguel taught Anthony anything, it’s to seize his moment. During his family’s visit to Walt Disney World Resort last week, guests were delighted with a surprise rendition of Anthony and Mariachi Cobre at EPCOT with beloved themes from the film such as “Un Poco Loco,” “Remember Me “and” The World is My Family “.
While here, Anthony made the most of all the specials available during the world’s most magical celebration and enjoyed seeing “Coco” appear throughout the resort in the new nightly shows “Harmonious” at EPCOT and “Disney Enchantment” at Magic Kingdom Park. He was also able to see up close the new sculpture by Miguel that he announced this summer as part of the Disney Fab 50 character collection – part of the Walt Disney World Resort 50th birthday celebration.
Like his character Miguel, Anthony recognizes the importance of family. His visit gave him the opportunity to enjoy Latinx Month of Hispanic Heritage and living with his family through Walt Disney World Resort’s celebration of “Together We Are Magic”. Guests can enjoy special food and drink, entertainment and products to celebrate Latinx Hispanic culture until October 15th.
Enjoy this special message from Anthony commemorating his recent visit to Walt Disney World and his performance with Mariachi Cobre.
Disney and Pixar’s “Coco” is available to play on Disney + and you can enjoy listening to all the songs in the movie on the “Original Soundtrack of the Coco Movie” available on all streaming services.
