EPCOT News: Guardians of the Galaxy Construction Progress & New World Showcase Merchandise

Go to EPCOT soon? There are so many things to see and do, from the spectacular fireworks Harmonic to the EPCOT International Wine and Food Festival, which still lasts on November 20th.

There have even been some new events since our last check-in, so let’s take a moment to summarize the latest finds in the park.

General EPCOT updates

EPCOT is currently under construction while continuing its massive transformation! The “future world” is no more the front half of the park has been officially separated into three different neighborhoods: World celebration, world discovery and world nature!

As we entered EPCOT via the monorail, we were able to spot it the latest advances in construction which happens around the park.

The current construction is taking place around EPCOT.

As you can see, there seems to be a lot of work left to do!

We were also able to take a quick look at the latest constructions that are taking place around Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, which Disney confirmed opened in 2022

EPCOT merchandise updates

Creation shop

It’s called the new EPCOT flagship store Design Store, taking the place of the old store, Mouse Gear! This will be your new shopping destination for new Disney World product collections.

On a recent visit, we saw the new one Dooney & Bourke bags for the 50th anniversary celebration and accessories

The Dooney & Bourke 50th Anniversary collection is in stock at Creations Shop.

The bags were well stocked!

Club Cool

Creations Shop is not the only new place to visit. Club Cool recently reopened with a brand new design, complete with unique merchandise and yes, the return of the famous Beverly.

On a recent trip to EPCOT, we found new bottle openers this would make a fun addition to your collection.

Pavilion of Norway

We now go to World Showcase to see what new merchandise we will discover. When we stopped next to the Pavilion of Norway, we found a new one Health cup!

New glass Tervis from Norway

Sold by $ 21.99 and says “EPCOT World Showcase” in its design. Be on the lookout for this glass on your next trip to the Norwegian Pavilion.

Pavilion of Italy

In the Italian pavilion, we saw one new rechargeable glass water bottle per $ 22.99

One side of the bottle says “baby mouse“, Which is the Italian name of Mickey Mouse, and the same homonym of Topolino terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort!

Did you know that “Mickey Mouse” is the Italian name for Mickey Mouse?

The other side says “all good.”
