When our curious Disney Files staff asked him to name his favorite spot to the resort he ran for the past ten years, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort general manager Paul Hart didn’t hesitate. “The Green Cabin Room,” he told us. “Exterior porch, overlooking the ocean.”
We would call this a humble flex (“my resort has a porch overlooking the ocean!”), But it is also our favorite place. Located on top of the resort’s central inn building, the Green Cabin Room has long been among our favorite destinations before and after dinner (and for members), serving cocktails, coffees and light snacks in an environment reminiscent of the design of Spanish galleons sailed beyond these beaches, including that of San Martin in 1618 which he said sank off the coast of the complex.
Now, Disney Files members, guests and employees have even more reason to visit their favorite place, thanks to new morning deals, tasting events and beverage options.
From 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. each day, stop by for pastries, special espresso drinks, coffees, teas and more. You’ll even find a selection of “breakfast cocktails”. As they say, it’s 5 o’clock somewhere.
Before dinner, participate in “Adult Drink Experiences” from 4 to 5 p.m. daily. Priced at $ 45 per person (including taxes and gratuity), each one-hour experience is based on a different spirit.
Although daily offerings are subject to change, Sundays and Thursdays are currently soaked in bourbon, with experiences inviting participants to try a classic Manhattan, sample old-fashioned smoking and enjoy an exclusive resort. tourist “Vero Beach Lemonade”, absorbing everything with charcuterie.
Wednesdays and Saturdays are adapted to the region’s rich pirate history by celebrating all things with rum, with a rum-based “Turtle Krawl” (a favorite at Disney’s Old Key West Resort), a Dark and Stormy ”Equally advanced rum and the opportunity to make your own rum runner. And yes, more charcuterie.
Daisies go into the sun on Tuesdays and Fridays, combining three types of margaritas (from classic to chocolate) with french fries, sauce and guacamole.
And as “Monday Martinis” pops up as I write this, I feel like there’s a change to “Magical Mondays,” which allows the experience to highlight a wide range of Walt Disney World Resort cocktails.
Stop by Eb & Flo during your stay to book your “Adult Drinking Experiences”. And while visiting the Green Cabin Room outside of these hours of tasting and morning tasting experiences, be sure to visit the new menu, where you’ll find a wide range of beers, wines, cocktails and mocktails.
See you on the beach!
