Just in time for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World, the former Contemporary Resort restaurant, The Wave … of American Flavors, reopened as Steakhouse 71.

Located on the first floor of the contemporary resort, this reinvented resort restaurant evokes the history of the resort and its sleek, modern design.

What you need to know

This new addition is open for breakfast from 07:30 to 11:00, lunch from 11:30 to 14:00 and dinner from 17:00 to 21:00. Breakfast and lunch are priced at From $ 15.00 to $ 34.99 per adult while dinner is priced at From $ 35.00 to $ 59.99 per adult.

It is recommended to book restaurants in advance and they can also be done in the My Disney Experience app; however, if you are already within this 60-day window, consider using the TouringPlans Booking Finder.

Steakhouse 71 also offers a lounge and serves a variety of restaurant dishes, including its famous bacon and eggs, here as well.

Upon opening, our park reporter, Chrissy, checked out Steakhouse 71 at lunch and found several delicious items; and now he’s back to seeing how the lunch menu compares to breakfast.


The Steakhouse 71’s breakfast menu offers three options for snacks, including a plate of fruit $ 9.00, pastries for breakfast $ 10.00and oatmeal for $ 7.00.


Steakhouse 71 seasonal pancakes: $ 14.00

During Chrissy’s visit, the seasonal panellets were pumpkin spices with a maple bourbon syrup. Essentially, it’s a dessert disguised as breakfast with bacon, sausage or a la carte chicken sausage.

Western Trout: $ 16.00

It officially serves one, but enough for two. According to Chrissy, this is like the rest of the menu, exactly what is expected of a meat breakfast, as it is plentiful and not at all shy with its meat and cheese. Very good.

Also, the cookies were wonderful and the potatoes had some rosemary with a nice crust.
