When you are working to get your music career on a solid footing, there is no question that it is essential to surround yourself with a group of like-minded people. This is a pretty basic argument: you probably can’t effectively cover (not to mention perform) the basics of tour planning, labeling issues, commercial strategies, and so on while nurturing your creative music.
There are different ways to configure a team, but in general most tasks involve a manager (who acts as the artist’s business force), an agent (who manages the touring and event elements) and a label (the work that reveals the recorded work); The label agreement may include a PR representative who will communicate with the media and the public about your work. As your popularity grows, there may be a role for subsets in each component, such as the daily manager, versus the overall manager who develops the strategy and manages the big picture topics.
So how do you choose who to work with and what are the key features of a strong team? The answer is not the same for everyone. You must first have a clear idea of what you want and need as a completely unique person.
The first and most important element of building a strong team is self-awareness: understanding who you are and having an honest picture of your own strengths and weaknesses. This will help you figure out where to fit in the music world and make it easier to identify what kind of support you need. If your passion and knowledge does not extend to visual arts and identity, choose a march manager with a leadership mindset. One step at a time

“Everyone we’ve worked with has come to us.
