EPCOT is known to be Walt Disney World’s best food theme park. With so many cuisines from around the world, you can always find something interesting to try, including a lot of amazing snacks.
Recently, I have ranked each land throughout the Magic Kingdom in terms of its ability to bite. Today, I turn my snack-loving eyes to WDW’s second theme park, EPCOT.
With twice as many unique lands as the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT posed a pretty big challenge. It would have been extremely tricky to include festival booths that changed frequently in my analysis, so I focused only on permanent dining venues.
As a soda, here is how I judge the eating ability of a plot:
- Quantity: number of snacks or snack locations located within this land
- Quality: Not just having snacks, but having them well appetizers
- Variety: having different types of snacks within this land, not just the same
- Uniqueness: Classic snacks are classic for a reason, but having some unique options you won’t find anywhere else is also important
- Theme: how do snacks relate to the theme of that particular land?
So how were the various World Showcase countries? And, with all the construction underway, what about Future World’s snack options? Let’s find out!
# 1 France
With three stellar snack bars, France really takes the cake (or rather, the crepe). Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie dare to choose from a delicious assortment of French breads, pastries and desserts, while L’artisan des Glaces collects delicious ice cream sweets, including macaron ice cream sandwiches. The new boy from the Parisian block, La Creperie de Paris, includes a shop window serving savory and sweet crêpes. With a wide range of authentic French items, this trio cannot be surpassed.
# 2 Mexico
While I’m not a big fan of Mexican cuisine, I realize I’m a very minority. Most people will love the two snack stops at the Mexico Pavilion, La Cantina de San Angel and Choza de Margarita, which include favorite dishes for people like chips and guacamole, empanadas, nachos, tostadas, wheat sweet corn on the cob and the classic churros. for dessert. It is a wide variety of popular and high quality snacks.
# 3 Germany
Get your tasty solution at the Sommerfest, which serves soft pretzels and bratwursts, and then head to Karamell-Kuche, the charming shop that offers every variety of caramel snacks you can think of, from caramel apples to popcorn corn, blackberry candy cookies and more! Germany provides the best of both worlds, all in one land.
# 4 China
The China Pavilion has two places to pick up crispy, hot and tasty egg rolls: Joy of Tea and Lotus Blossom Café. The first also serves a popular bubble tea drink, while in the second you can also enjoy pot stickers. It may not be a great variety, but China has multiple quality on-the-go snack options for your busy day at EPCOT.
# 5 Italy
Gelateria Toscana is your one-stop shop for all varieties of Italian products, including traditional ice cream or ice cream floats, cannoli, tiramisu and cakes (as well as elegant coffee drinks and frozen sangria). A delicious ball of Italian ice cream is hard to beat on a hot Florida day. However, a second snack in Italy that offers some savory options would be a nice addition.
# 6 Norway
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe is a Norwegian bakery that serves authentic and favorite pastries for fans, such as school bread, horn, apple pie and more. There may not be a lot of choices, but these are treats you won’t find anywhere else on the property, so try them out.
# 7 Canada
You’ll sing “Oh Canada” after trying the maple popcorn at the Popcorn Stand in Canada or the traditional poutine at the Refreshment Port (outside the pavilion). While these two items are unique and themed, the rest of the offerings at these two snack bars are not at all inspiring.
# 8 Japan
If you like sushi, you’ll love snacking at the Japan Pavilion. Pick up some rolls at Kabuki Café or Katsura Grill. If you don’t like sushi, your options are more limited, but almost everyone will enjoy kakigori, which is Japanese shaved ice, which offers a variety of fruity flavors in Kabuki coffee.
# 9 Morocco
While it offers some unique and tasty dishes, such as hummus, naan, squid and shrimp fries, it’s hard to rank Spice Road Table higher, as it’s more of a lounge and not a place to grab a snack. fast. If you have some time, check out the wait and join the hiking list for a quieter snack experience.
# 10 Future world
Future World is currently under heavy construction as it prepares to split into World Nature, World Celebration and World Discovery. As such, snack options are quite limited. You can pick up some healthy snacks, including fruit, vegetables, hummus and cheese, from both The Land Cart and Sunshine Seasons, as well as a good variety of pastries and desserts. Having a good variety and some healthier options helped save Future World from the last position, but considering it covers about half of the park, it still has a pretty sad shape when it comes to snacking.
# 11 America
I have nothing against the classic turkey legs, popcorn, pretzels, hot dogs, soft pastries and funnels for quick and easy snacks served at Fife & Drum Tavern and Funnel Cake in the American Pavilion, only i think if you’re at EPCOT, surrounded by unique cuisine from around the world, it’s a bit lame snack here.
# 12 United Kingdom
Sorry, in the UK, but the only real snack option is the fish and chips from the Yorkshire County fish shop. And while flaky and delicious, it’s really more than a meal than a snack.
Classifying EPCOT lands in terms of snacks was not an easy task, with so many amazing cuisines to choose from. While some countries have more options than others, you really can’t go wrong when it comes to snacking around the world.
