It may be fall, but the warm weather at Disney World makes it perfectly acceptable to continue snacking on these summer flavors.
Use of POG DOLE Whips, strawberry slushies, spicy margaritas and much more have recently been new additions to Disney World, especially for the 50th anniversary. And, we are grateful for these refreshing flavors, because it is still achieved quite toasted walking around Disney World right now! Luckily, we just found another drink to help you cool off at Disney Springs.
This is the Crown and Lime by Fly the Ice Cream!
It’s a float with Crown Beer, lime sorbet, ia candied lime gum to garnish: an interesting view of a crown and sparkling lime that you will typically drink on the beach.

That it didn’t really taste like we were drinking beer with this float. We definitely get the different flavors of the Crown specifically, however it’s not a real beer flavor. He seemed to drink more an alcoholic lime float.
We liked that the sorbet was on top of the drink, such as beer foam. That way, we don’t have to focus on drinking beer to get to the sorbet.
The float still has intense carbonation which comes with a beer. It is a refreshing drink, however it was hard for us to get over the idea of mixing beer and sorbet – It’s weird! We know that the beer and ice cream float is a pleasure that many people enjoy, so maybe we are just surprised by the sorbet.
But, if you really like the combined taste of beer and lime and you are looking for something more unique then a bottle of Crown and a wedge of lime, you’ll probably enjoy it! If you’re one of those people who doesn’t like to combine different types of food, we suggest you stay away.
If you want to try it for yourself, you can get it at Vivoli il Gelato $ 17.04. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney food news and reviews.
