NEW: Disney World renames the modified characters and greets

Disney World has seen many changes for its big 50th anniversary. And, one of the updates that many fans make is the modification of the return of characters who meet on November 19th!

We love her new dresses!

However, these encounters will be a little different than before. Guests will be able to continue to have personal characters while taking photos with social distances. But the autographs and hugs won’t come back yet. I, to further show the difference between these and the encounters and greetings we used to know, Disney has changed their name.

According to the Disney website, the five modified meeting and greeting locations will actually be referred to as “sightings” of characters This is what you’ll see on Disney park maps and the My Disney Experience app starting November 12 as well.
