5 unexpected things that happened at Disney World this week

The Brazilian stand was moved

The EPCOT 2021 Enogastronomic Festival The stand in Brazil was moved to a new location! It opened on October 1st and was originally located near the front of the World Showcase, in front of the Port of Entry gift shop. Less than a month after opening, the Brazil stand has moved back to its original location for the Food and Wine Festival. between the pavilions of France and Morocco.

Extended Disney World Railroad rehabilitation

It looks like the Walt Disney World Railroad has been renovated forever right now, and now the reform has been extended until 2022. If you were hoping to take a train ride in 2021, that doesn’t seem to be happening.

The main street railway station

Due to the construction in the TRON: Roller Coaster Lightcycle Run, the Disney World Railroad has been closed since 2018. An official completion date has never been announced, but now the Disney World website lists the refurbishment that will run until 2022.

Ahsoka Minnie Ears

It was an exciting surprise to find new ones Star Wars Minnie’s ears with Ahsoka at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! We found them on Tatooine Traders next to Star Tours by $ 39.99.

The meeting and greeting of the characters return in a new way!

Meeting and greeting of modified characters, or as Disney calls it “sightings, ” appeared soon at Disney World! Initially announced for November, this week we were able to get it socially distanced one by one with Mickey and princesses Tiana, Elena, Cinderella and Rapunzel!

Guests can see Mickey Mouse again at Magic Kingdom’s Town Square Theater!

You can take photos and have a conversation, but you still can’t ask for autographs or hugs. We were so excited to be able to interact with the characters again and can’t wait to “meet” other characters!

More Christmas decorations … BEFORE Halloween!

Even before Halloween arrives, Disney World added even MORE holiday decorations! This time we saw them at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where holiday animal lanterns were on the roof of Discovery Trading!

The streetlights are back!

The streetlights also light up at night! They remind us a bit of the Merry Menagerie puppets coming soon to Animal Kingdom.
