‘Soul Eater’ is scheduled to leave Netflix in December 2021

Popular anime series Soul Eater Netflix is ​​currently showing a removal notice in the United States, with Season 1 set to launch on December 1, 2021. The show is also being streamed on Netflix Canada where there is also a removal notice.

The Dark Fantasy series, based on Square Enix’s manga, was finally seen airing 51 episodes between 2008 and 2009. In North America, distribution rights are still in the hands of Fanimation but are mainly broadcast on Adult Swim and Fanimation channels.

If you’ve never seen an anime series before, here’s what you can expect:

Now, all 51 episodes are set to leave Netflix in the United States and Canada, with an expiration date currently set for December 1, 2021, which means your last day to watch will be November 30, 2021.

The series has come and gone in recent years. The series was first added to Netflix in September 2014 before being released in November 2016. It was then re-added to Netflix on December 1, 2017.

Now, four years later, it looks like they’re set to go with Netflix again. It looks like they’ll let the license go again, but we don’t know exactly if it’s going to last forever.


Where will Soul Eater stream after leaving Netflix?

Since Fanimation holds the license, the series is obviously available through Fanimation’s streaming service.

Outside of them, Hulu currently also holds the license for the series but they are not the actual owners, it is likely for a certain period of time.
