Netflix’s giant Australian supernatural has yet to get a Season 2 renewal, even a few years after its initial release on Netflix. Without any renewal years later, it is almost certainly the case Tidal land Canceled and not coming back for Season 2. That being said, Netflix has yet to officially announce anything.
Let’s quickly rewind to see how we got it Tidal land Season 1. The show was originally announced in May 2017. It represents the first full Netflix original show from Australia. Netflix has bought the international rights to many Australian shows where glitch and pine gaps are by far the biggest headlines.
Season 1’s Tidal land Dropped on Netflix worldwide on December 14, 2018. The series saw a former criminal return home that all is not well and the residents are half-sirens, half-people.
Despite the decently wrapped up of the story, there is still much to discover for Season 2. Some, however, jokingly said that there weren’t enough cast members left for Season 2 Tidal land.

Has Tidelands been renewed or canceled?
Official Renew Status: Ghost Canceled (Last Updated: November 2021)
Now, several years after the debut of Season 1, it almost certainly won’t be back.
Usually, it takes a few months to decide whether a show will be renewed and it hasn’t happened yet Tidal land.
The Washington Post listed the series on its limbo list, meaning it was in no way uncertain about the renewal.
Despite some fake sites showing a December 2021 release date for Season 2, this is absolutely not the case. What we suspect is that the show has been silently ghost-canceled. This is where it is handcuffed behind the scenes and no one is allowed to talk about it and Netflix makes no announcements.
The good news is that Netflix has opened a new Australian hub to help with new content and has made several great shows since then.
Tidelands social media accounts have gone silent
The show’s social media accounts are a great way to see how healthy a show’s future is on Netflix. Unfortunately, the officer Tidal land Since the end of January 2019, the Twitter account has gone dark. This is about a month and a half after the original release of the show. Similarly, the Facebook account for the event also went silent at the end of January.
Last tweet sent from here Tidal land Account:
I’m worried for myself. I wondered why one of my sons was there without me knowing. I’m worried about the money and I’m worried about my next fucking delivery. When is this going to happen?

The cast members have also become tighter in future seasons. Castra regularly posts pictures of the back of the old scene on Instagram.
Our idea is that some of the shows we’ve seen have gone silent without any official cancellation or renewal announcement. The most recent example is The Innocents Which has been silently canceled and only came up in one interview. Similarly, Black Summer Season 2, another Netflix drama is very calm about its future.
Cast members still don’t seem to have moved on to other big projects. Charlotte Best is working on two movies for the release, the other cast members are in the same boat.
Duleep Sondhi, who plays Lamar Clotia, appears to be involved in another upcoming Netflix / Foxtel project as well as a project with Channel 7.
