A NEW hotel opens, the holidays are coming and more Disney news you’ve missed!

Happy Holidays, AllEars readers! Yes, believe it or not, Disney’s holiday season is here.

Holiday ears have even arrived!

And we are ready for that! But that’s not the only thing that has happened this week on Disney news. And in case you missed anything, we have a brief summary of the most important Disney news of the week.

Holidays at Disney World

The holiday season has hit Disney World hard. While we saw the holiday decor rise early at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, decorations at Magic Kingdom increased from 1 November! And it’s amazing how the park transforms from Halloween to the holidays in just one night. In addition, the Jungle Cruise has received its holiday overlay: the Jingle Cruise is back.

Holidays have also arrived at Disney’s Animal Kingdom —The tree there is always impressive.

The return of more club level rooms to Disney World

Things are getting back to normal at Disney World. Early next year (which isn’t that far away!), Guests will be able to book club-level rooms at three more resorts: Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

The Club Level lounge will reopen at the Nautical Club January 20th, at the Beach Club on January 27, and in Polynesia where February 3rd. Disney previously announced that Club Level rooms would be re-introduced at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and their rooms would reopen on December 16th. Club Level lounges have recently reopened at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

And speaking of hotels, the novelty Hotel Walt Disney World Swan Reserve has officially opened its doors to guests. Located next to Walt Disney World’s Swan and Dolphin, the 14-story hotel has 349 rooms, including 151 suites, with all rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows to enjoy some of the best views of Disney World.

Like the Swan and Dolphin, guests staying at the Swan Reserve are within walking distance of EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. It also has four new restaurants, including Amare, a signature Mediterranean restaurant.

Hocus Pocus Update 2

Sure, it’s holiday season, but we’re already looking forward to the release of a new Halloween movie next year. Hocus Pocus 2. The film is in official production in Rhode Island with director Anne Fletcher. Hocus Pocus 2 will be released exclusively on Disney + in the fall of 2022.

Disney also made an additional casting announcement about the film: while the trio of actresses played by the Sanderson sisters will return, the film will also include Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham, Belissa Escobedo, Doug Jones, Tony Hale, Sam Richardson, Hannah Waddingham, Juju Brener, Froy Gutierrez, Taylor Henderson and Nina Kitchen.

More casting announced for Disney’s ‘Hocus Pocus 2’!

Trailer for the Boba Fett series

And speaking of Disney +, the long-awaited Mandalorià spin-off series, Boba Fett’s book already officially has a trailer! Boba Fett’s book follows the story of Boba Fett after the events of his appearance The Mandalorian. Temuera Morrison will reprise his role as Boba Fett, with Ming-Na Wen joining him.

The series will premiere at Disney + December 29th.
