PHOTOS AND VIDEOS: The parades are back at Disney World!

Since Disney World reopened in July 2020, we’ve enjoyed a variety of short character rides at each of the four theme parks. These “mini parades” provided guests with frequent entertainment throughout the day that allowed the crowds to disperse more evenly.

All lit up for the special occasion!

Since then, as health and safety measures have been revised, we have begun to see more offers return to the parks. And on the first night of Disney’s Very Merriest After Hours, we’re finally seeing the return of the FULL parades for the first time since March 2020!

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is part of the festive event entertainment schedule outside of this year’s schedule! The parade began and we immediately felt ALL the sensations!

This parade is full of iconic Disney World holiday characters, including Toy Soldiers!

TBH, we were so excited to hear the toy soldiers march down the main street!

We were also able to see Santa’s reindeer pulling his sled!

The reindeer!

Of course, Santa himself made a special appearance!

It ends with a classic Santa ending!

The parade also includes some of our favorite Disney characters, including Woody …
