Holidays are officially here! Starting today, the happy holidays are back at Disneyland Resort. Until January 9, 2022, enjoy a vacation experience like only Disney can do. Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, Downtown Disney District and Disneyland Resort hotels are full of festive fun for everyone! The beloved family holiday traditions and various cultural festivities are back, and there are also many new and exciting items to enjoy!

Disneyland Park

A few weeks ago, we gave you a first look at Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, with the new holiday outfit they are wearing at Disneyland Park this season. But they are not the only ones wearing new and festive styles! Goofy, Chip and Dale, Pluto, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow are also dressed up for winter fun! You can see them all cozy and warm in these sleek new looks around Town Square at Disneyland Park.

As you head down the main street, full of vacations, perfect for pictures, in the United States, you’ll be amazed at the stunning 60-foot-tall Christmas tree, which is decorated with nearly 1,800 ornaments. Before heading to the charming Sleeping Beauty Winter Castle, which is decorated with lights, ice cubes, wreaths and festive decorations, be sure to stop by the brand new holiday shop, Plaza Point!

We are thrilled to be able to welcome back our first parade for all guests since the reopening as the “A Christmas Fantasy” parade re-enters the parade route! This cheerful musical celebration is full of beloved Disney characters, roaring reindeer, toy soldiers on the move, dancing gingerbread cookies, Anna, Elsa and Olaf from “Frozen”, Santa Claus waving from his sleigh and much more joy on vacation.

Plus, the spectacular “Believe … In Holiday Magic” fireworks is back this year too! This poignant spectacle is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the holiday spirit, which includes a magical “snowfall,” colorful projections on Main Street, the United States, and the facade of “It’s a Small World” Holiday.

In addition, the popular seasonal transformations are once again taking over the beloved attractions, resonating with the joy of a holiday at Disneyland Park.

Disney California Adventure Park

At Disney California Adventure Park, the Disney Festival of Holidays is back! You will rediscover the sights, sounds and tastes of a diverse season of celebrations, such as Christmas / Christmas, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and King’s Day.

The celebration comes to life with “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” as Disney characters host a fun street party along with Mexican folk dancers and mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, giant mojiganga puppets and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse at their best party.

And we’re excited to add some new fun to this year’s holiday celebration, with Mirabel’s special appearances from Walt Disney Animation Studios ’new musical,“ Charm, ”inspired by the people and cultures of Colombia. . This joyful, time-limited experience brings a new cultural perspective to the immersive “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” festivities at the Disney Festival of Holidays, with live entertainment, interactive photo opportunities and the young hero of the film, which opens only in theaters on November 24th.

The Mistletoes, an a cappella ensemble, celebrates an R&B Christmas and Kwanzaa spirit as they perform classic holiday songs with rhythm and soul at the Pacific Wharf Stage and Palisades Stage during the Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park.

But that’s not all: there’s even more festive entertainment to discover at the Disney Festival of Holidays. New this year are The Mistletoes, an a cappella ensemble celebrating R&B Christmas and the spirit of Kwanzaa, who perform classic holiday songs with rhythm and soul at the Pacific Wharf Stage and Palisades Stage.

Mistletoe joins additional favorite entertainment such as Mostly Kosher, Blue13 Dance Company, Mariachi Divas, The Suffragettes, Phat Cat Swinger and more!

“Mickey’s Happy Holidays” features a joyous seasonal celebration with Mickey Mouse and friends as they travel through the heart of Disney California Adventure Park. Join in the fun with the Disney and Pixar characters dancing and parading with the high-energy music and cheerful beats of the holiday toy drums, twice a day.

Cars Land is also equipped for the holidays! Radiator Springs four-wheeler residents do their best with their holiday decor. The Christmas spirit is set in motion with a slew of smart car ornaments along Route 66. In addition, two favorite attractions are transformed for the holidays: Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.

Believe it or not, this is just a part of what you can experience during your theme park vacation. There are also plenty of great holiday products, festive meals in abundance (see also this Disneyland Resort Holiday Food Guide) and extra magic to discover in every nook and cranny.

Even in the Downtown Disney district, you will find festive decoration, unique party shopping, food and entertainment.
