The cast members celebrate the magic of the holidays in the preview of the “A Christmas Fantasy” parade.

Spicy cake, snow and Santa Claus were the perfect ingredients for a magical Tuesday night, as cast members gathered to be among the first to see the return of a Disneyland Park holiday favorite, “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade.

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse were dressed for the holidays as they teamed up with special friends, such as Buzz Lightyear, Tiana, Santa’s elves and reindeer, to bring the joy of the holidays to about 8,000 cast. Before the parade, the cast enjoyed the delicacies, took pictures in front of the Christmas tree in the Town Square and bought holiday merchandise. And when the night was over, they enjoyed a merry snowfall on Main Street in the United States, and the breathtaking view of a beautiful sleeping winter castle.

Front door receptionist Gloria Garcia shared the special night with her granddaughter, Elizabeth Alcalá, of food and drink at Disney California Adventure Park. “I’ve always been one of those who watches the parade and I love Christmas,” Elizabeth said. “It’s a lot of fun listening to music and cheering everyone on.” Gloria agreed: “It’s great to be able to get together and share Christmas again with everyone.”

In support of the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive that benefits Toys for All, U.S. Marines and Disney VoluntEARs collected toys from the cast to spread the gift of happiness to children during the holidays.

“Christmas is here for everyone, like the family we are,” said goods host Edward Catalan.

The special preview of the cast is the unofficial launch of the holiday season for the cast as they prepare to welcome guests to Holidays at the Disneyland Resort from Friday, November 12 to January 9, 2022. From the Fireworks “Believe … In Holiday Magic” to Disney. Holiday Festival, there is something for everyone in the happiest place on Earth this holiday season.

“I’m very excited for the guests to see all the cast members dancing, smiling and interacting with them again,” Logan Grayson of guest relations said. “That’s what everyone wants, to have this human interaction: to feel the magic and dance!”
