You know what they say … at 11:59 pm on October 31st, it’s Halloween, but on November 1st at 12pm, it’s Christmas everywhere. There is no place where this is more true than at Disney World, which basically transforms overnight from a creepy season to a holiday season.
But we don’t care because that means NEW snacks and we’re trying them all, from a Christmas cookie smoothie to reindeer mousse to a hot frozen salted caramel chocolate. But what looks more like a holiday than cookies? And we’re pleased to report that a place to snack at Disney World has some of the favorites!
When we visited Contempo Cafe Today at Disney’s Contemporary Resort we saw that some delicious holiday cookies are back this year! This includes the Chocolate and mint cookie per $ 5.19. This is a great chewable chocolate chip cookie topped with more chocolate (!!!) and THEN finished with chunks of mint.
We also noticed the return of the Mickey linzer Cookie per $ 5.49. This is a dusty sweet crunchy cookie powdered sugar and full of raspberry jam. YUM.
Finally, you can now get the Gingerbread cookie again for $ 5.49. This cookie is BIG, so you’ll have a lot of gingerbread with it.
Here’s the thing, these cookies are a little cheaper than last year. The previous prices were $ 5.50 for the mint cookie, $ 6.50 for the Mickey Linzer cookie, i $ 6.25 for the gingerbread man, who says prices never go down at Disney World?
You can also get the build your own gingerbread house kit here again this year. The kit includes everything you need to build your own tasty home! The price of the kit is still $ 35.
So if you fancy some delicious holiday cookies, go to Contemporary now! And stay tuned because we cover ALL the delights of the Disney World holidays!
