5 reasons to spend with a ticket outside the busiest hours – Blog TouringPlans.com

What you need to know

Because Very Merriest After Hours is a separate ticket event, it is NOT included with the park ticket. However, a Very Merriest ticket allows access to the park and its attractions from 19:00, although the event itself starts at 21:00. In addition, it is not necessary to book the Park Pass.

Very Merriest is held on selected nights from November 8 to December 21 and lasts for four hours from 9pm and ends at 1am.

Tickets are expensive and vary by date $ 189 to $ 249 per adult. Many of the park’s attractions run all night; and as the party has limited seating, guests may find shorter waiting times.

Now that the Very Merriest has begun, you know our Chrissy Park reporter was on the scene to see if this new After Hours festive event was naughty or enjoyable; and according to her, this party was not Boo Bash. Instead, he enjoyed a full night full of fireworks, live entertainment, characters and treats!

So if you’re arguing about whether to buy a ticket, here are five reasons why we think Very Merriest After Hours is worth it.

5. Festive Delights

Since food is a key element of any proper festive celebration, Magic Kingdom not only launched new treats but, in the tradition of Mickey’s very merry Christmas party, also offered select treats for free!

In addition to the popcorn, Mickey bars, and free soft drinks throughout the park, Very Merriest also served hot chocolate and free cookies at specific locations marked by large inflatable candy canes.

These fast-serving restaurants were Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, Columbia Harbor House, Pinocchio Village Haus and Cosmic Rays.

While everything tastes better when it’s free, it’s worth noting that there isn’t as much variety as guests used to enjoy during Mickey’s Christmas party. Note: Allergy-free options are available on request.

Delicious Instagram-worthy vacations were also available for an extra charge.

4. The gift of the characters

While you still can’t hug your favorites or get your autographs, Very Merriest featured some unique and socially distant characters just for the event, such as Santa Stitch, Captain Hook, and Mr. Smee, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, and more.

Guests at the party also have the opportunity to see lots of characters at the parade and the castle stage show.

3. Holiday vibes and Christmas extras

Since guests at the event can enter the Magic Kingdom at 7pm, they can watch the park’s 50th anniversary “Enchanted” fireworks show and screenings ahead of Minnie’s wonderful Christmas fireworks show during the party. Yes, they are two different fireworks shows on the same night!

Guests at the event can also enjoy special Magic Shots through PhotoPass photographers, as well as special park screenings, dance parties, the return of Cast Members ’holiday costumes and the musical styles of the Reindeer Wranglers.

Most importantly, Disney’s magic has changed the weather pattern of Central Florida in the Main Street, USA area, ensuring a snow-filled forecast for each night of Very Merriest After Hours.

2. Stage and sky entertainment

Mickey and Minnie’s Very Merry Memories Castle Stage Show has Mickey, Minnie and all their friends playing various holiday numbers. It’s an awesome production that both kids and adults will appreciate, but let’s be honest. The best number is Clarabelle Cow who plays “All I Want for Christmas is You” as Moo-riah Dairy. He’s a showstopper.

In addition to doing a great show, Minnie also hosts Minnie’s wonderful Christmas fireworks show with castle projections! It’s fun, festive and embarrassing Christmas lights from any home!

1. The return of the Christmas parade

Yes, thanks to Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime, the parades are finally back at Walt Disney World after 20 months!

There are few things more magical and Christmasy than seeing this basic element of the festivities coming down a decorated Main Street, USA, as the snow blows through the air. It is an absolute must and works TWICE throughout the night!

Final thoughts

Overall, Very Merriest After Hours may be the best After Hours event we’ve experienced since the parks reopened. There was so much to do and see, and that’s what you loved and remembered about Mickey’s very merry Christmas party.
