How to use the virtual queue to meet Santa at Disney World

It’s the holiday season at Disney World, which means tasty treats, festive decorations and new merchandise.

Happy Holidays to everyone!

At Disney Springs, you can celebrate it with even more delicious treats, the walk through the Christmas tree and a visit with the same cheerful, Santa! Here’s a step-by-step guide to getting to know Santa at Disney Springs.

Like other encounters and greetings at Disney World right now, meeting Santa seems a little different this year. You can head to Once Upon a Toy to Disney Springs to begin your joyous journey.

When you arrive, you should see signs for the Santa meeting and greeting, including one with instructions for joining the virtual queue.

You will see on the poster that Santa is available From 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. most days (but he will be later from From December 15 to 24, when are their hours From 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.).

When your group is called, you will have it an hour window to return to Once Upon a Toy to meet Santa. You can head to the store to join the short physical queue.

Jumping in line!

And then they will call you to meet Santa! Like other encounters and greetings at Disney World, you can’t hug Santa or ask for autographs. But you can chat with him and let him know what you’d like him to leave you under the tree this year.

Hi Santa!

I there is a PhotoPass photographer on the scene to take your photo, which you can then purchase and download to the My Disney Experience app.
