ABC will broadcast “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” on November 28, 2021


It’s back to this time of year as Disney and ABC team up for “The Wonderful World of Disney: A Magical Holiday Celebration,” which airs on Sunday, November 28, 2021.

Brothers Derek Hough and Julianne Hough will host this year’s event with actress Ariana DeBose.

The special was shot at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, and will feature holiday cheer, poignant moments and exclusive snacks from The Walt Disney Company news.

Viewers can look forward to: a look at Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, which opens March 1, 2022 at Walt Disney World Resort; a trip aboard Disney Cruise Line’s new Disney Wish; and special looks at Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Charm” and Steven Spielberg’s new film “West Side Story,” which also stars DeBose.

Musical performances from “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” will include:

  • Julianne Hough and Ariana DeBose: “We Need a Little Christmas,” “Grandma Was Hit by a Reindeer” and “Holidays” combined
  • AFTR PRTY – Medley “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” i “Winter Wonderland”
  • Jimmie Allen – “Silent Night”
  • Kristin Chenoweth: combination “(Everyone is waiting) The man in the bag” and “Jingle Bell Rock”
  • Darren Criss – Medley “Happy Holidays / The Holiday Season”.
  • Brett Eldredge – “It’s the most wonderful time of the year”
  • NEEDTOBREATHE and Switchfoot – “Christmas Hometown”
  • Norah Jones – “Christmas Calling (Jolly Jones)” and “Blue Christmas” combination
  • Gwen Stefani – “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” and “Jingle Bells”
  • Sebastián Yatra – “Dos Oruguitas” (from “Encanto”) by Walt Disney Animation Studios and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” medley

The fun begins at 7pm ET / 6 CT this Sunday on ABC, and the show will be available to play the next day on Hulu.
