The Disney World’s Story Book character dining room will reopen with an UPDATED menu!

After more than 18 months, another character dining experience will finally return to Disney World next month!

Today, Disney announced it The storybook dinner at Artist Point at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will reopen on December 16, 2021 with its quirky characters and a fixed price menu! I, now we have a first look at the menu changes that will arrive at the restaurant when we welcome guests back!

Per a fixed cost per person (which Disney has not yet announced), guests will be able to enjoy shared snacks, a selection of shared starters and desserts. And, if before you were a big fan of this restaurant, you’re in luck because it hasn’t changed much on the menu!

Per appetizers, guests will receive three dishes to share including the return Evil prawn cocktail. Disney updated the name Mushroom Bisque to “Wild mushroom biscuit” but from what the menu says, the ingredients remain the same.

And, the biggest change is that Hunter’s terrine (which appeared chicken, black truffle, canned stone fruit, homemade pickles) has been renamed Hunter’s Pie and now includes turi and chickens, black of truffle, canned blueberries and crispy sauerkraut.

A la incoming menu, guests can expect to find returning favorites like the Royal Prime Rib Roast i A walk through nature in addition to some changes to the dishes that were previously a la carte.

For example, the Beef stew “Cottage” has been renamed “Cottage” Stroganoff (although apparently nothing has changed of the dish) and the Brother’s Grimm Roast Chicken is now Brother’s Grimm’s Grilled Chicken and includes cauliflower puree, roasted vegetables and chicken juice.

In addition, the Magic Mirror Slow Braised Pork Shank will now come with mashed potato with horseradish instead of celery root potato puree along with withered vegetables and juices). And the The newest item on the plant-based menu is the “Tricken” chicken witch spell. which includes mashed potatoes with herbs, peas and vegetable juice.

And, you’ll want to make sure you save space for dessert because there will be some FOUR sweets to share including the return “Poison” apple, fairy-tale currant cake, i The hunter’s gift to the queen.

The only change here is that the Treasures of the miners now dessert is described as being made with cookie panna cotta and cream and precious chocolate instead of the old sponge cake, lovely chocolate and berry panna cotta.

The drinks menu has also stayed pretty much the same with the only slight updates coming to some items.

He Wishing Apple Punch It was previously priced at $ 7 and automatically included a Souvenir Glow Cube. However, now the non-alcoholic drink it will cost $ 5 and guests can add the glossy cube to the drink for an additional $ 3.79. And, the alcoholic beverage, In Brew of Peaches, it will now be done with Jim Beam Black Extra-aged Bourbon instead of the bourbon Buffalo Trace.
