NEWS: Walt Disney Imagineering Appoints New President

We’ve seen a lot of staff changes at Walt Disney Company over the last few months.
There have been promotions, outings, and some big changes (including a change of CEO in early 2020). Now, there are some changes in the Imaging department!
In March, we reported that both Bob Weis (who was the president of Imagineering) and Barbara Bouza obtained title changes at Walt Disney Imagineering. Bob Weis’ LinkedIn profile included his new title as President: Development of Creative and New Experiences, while Bouza updated his position as President: Business Management, Design and Development. Weis also retained the usual title of “President of Walt Disney Imagineering” in his profile at the time.

Now, according to My News 13, Weis sent a note to members of Imageryering’s cast on Tuesday informing them that he was resigning as president; he will now take on the role of global ambassador for Imagingering, formerly a Disney Legend Marty. Sklar.

Weis noted that “In this role, Marty was able to invest in our legacy as a way to build our future, mentor and defend our talent, recruit the next generation of Imagineers and help record our history through his writings “. Barbara Bouza will assume the presidency of Walt Disney Imagineering. At this time, your LinkedIn account still has the old title.
