We love having the opportunity to see new experiences opening up at Disney World!
Today, we are at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress for a preview Four flamingos, a kitchen by Richard Blais Florida, which officially opens tomorrow, December 3rd!
This tropical-themed restaurant is located in the former Hemingway’s location and serves both evening dinners and Sunday brunch.
The name was inspired by the “four species of flamingos that are native to America and the tendency of the bird to gather and feast in groups.”
Blais was the first winner of Bravo’s Top Chef All-Stars and will co-star with Gordon Ramsay in the FOX cooking contest, Next Level Chef.
The menu includes food inspired by local Florida ingredients such as stone crab, slices of signature steak, citrus flavors, Mahi Mahi and more!
There was a sample menu available for attendees to enjoy!
As for the design of the restaurant, Blais noted that he wanted it to have a vintage Florida vibe, which is seen in the decor of the restaurant as well as the glassware on your table. They even have some Hemingway books on the shelves to pay homage to the previous occupant of the locations.
