Holidays at Disney World are very special!
There’s all the amazing food, the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, fun and vibrant merchandise and all sorts of cool holiday drinks. And since it’s our duty, we’ll try ALL of these new drinks so you know what to expect, but today we drank FOUR!
Know the Martinis flight around the world. This is a combination of four drinks inspired by … well … the world!
The first is the Florida Key Lime Cake, which is done with Parrot Bay rum, lime juice, simple syrup, i Lima. We admit that this one made us a little wrinkled, because it is quite sour, although there is a bit of sweetness like real lime pie. If Key Lime Pie were a drink, this would be it, so here it is well represented!
The following is the Mexican poinsetta, which is done with Chateau Ste. Michelle Brut, cranberry juice, i Crane crane. We dear this one, which was the perfect combination of candy and cake.
He Caribbean cream is made with Plantation Rum, Rumchata, Joffrey’s Shakin ‘Jamaican Cold Brew, i Caramel syrup. And that was FABULOUS. It doesn’t look great, though, and it even looks like rumchatta milk breaks with the mixture of the other ingredients, but it doesn’t affect the texture when you taste it. The taste of bitter coffee makes it much better, although we think some people may prefer a sweeter drink.
Finally, the Italian Manhattan, which is done with Maker’s Mark, Antica Sweet Vermouth, Amaretto, Nabiu Juice, Angostura Bitters and Luxardo Cherry, turned out to be our favorite of the four! You can’t go wrong with a classic Manhattan. The taste of bourbon is really subtle in this drink. And while there’s a touch of acidity, it’s not too sour like the Mexican Martini.
If you want to try this flight yourself, it is available at Geyser Point Bar & Grill per $ 21 at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. However, you will not find the martini flight on the menu, so you must order it. And after ordering it, we inspired several guests to board the martini flight train!
