The festivities are here, and while cast members from around the world celebrate with different festivals and traditions, we all share a passion for returning to our local communities through philanthropic efforts.
This year, Disney launched the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive, with Disney Parks, Experiences and Products destinations and teams coordinating toy donation and other activities to spread the magic of the holidays and bring joy to children and families who they need it. Check out the video below, as the magic is “happening” around the world and read on to see more of the opportunities in more detail.
Walt Disney World Resort
From collecting thousands of toys in selected locations on the property, to helping with sorting and distributing donated items to local Toys for All stores, Walt Disney World and Disney VoluntEARS cast members are bringing joy to kids who need it this holiday season.
“During these holidays, coming back means creating happiness for others and not expecting anything in return,” said cast member Araceli Medrano. “Working at World of Disney where we have several Toys for All donation boxes and doing something that I know will make someone else happy is a gift in itself.”
Consumer products, games and publishing
The Consumer Products, Games, and Publications team has donated tens of thousands of toys this holiday season, and more than 4,100 additional toys were donated to local Marines from the Toys for All operation in Pasadena, California. “We were all left with more hope and more joy,” said Alyson Melling, CPGP’s Deputy Head of Social Responsibility. “It was a gift for everyone involved.”
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort
More than 100 Disney VoluntEARS from Hong Kong Disneyland Resort came together to collect and prepare more than 3,000 gift bags for local nonprofits. These will be delivered to your local communities during the holiday season.

Cast members and Disneyland Resort guests have donated more than 1,000 toys and have featured the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive in support of Toys for All, with in-person donation opportunities through December 14th. “Going back makes you appreciate the little things in life,” he said.
