New alumni name tag for Disney ambassadors

For years, Disney ambassadors have used a special pin during their time representing their respective Disney parks and resorts around the world. Now, for the first time, ambassadors will be recognized for their service to the company for the rest of their Disney careers with a new alumni name tag from the Disney ambassador. The label with the recent design name is a vibrant gold that pays homage to the pin worn by ambassadors during their tenure. Additional inspiration for the name tag shape and blue color was taken from badge no. 1 of Walt Disney’s Disneyland employee, briefly used during the rehearsal for Disneyland’s inaugural day in 1955 and seen on television in 1955. Disneyland’s tenth anniversary show in 1965.

Former Disney Ambassador alumni at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort were among the first to receive this new name tag during the last Ambassador alumni meetings.
