SURGE prices have arrived for the Genie + pay-per-view selections at Disneyland

Disney Genie + has officially debuted at Disneyland.

Although it had a difficult start, it is now available to guests. We’ve already shared a look at the cost of Genie + and the cost of selections of individual attractions (paid per trip) at Disneyland, but now we have some update.

When Genie + and Selection of Individual Attractions (Pay Per Trip) were launched on December 8, these were the pay-per-trip prices:

Now, as we approach the first weekend of Genie + at Disneyland (Fridays count as the “weekend,” right?), the prices of some of these selections have INCREASED. Here’s a look at the prices we saw today (December 10):

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance: $ 20 per person (no increase)

Radiator Springs Racers: $ 12 per person ($ 5 increase)

WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure – $ 12 per person ($ 5 increase)

This is similar to what happened at Disney World, where prices rose over the weekend for select pay-per-view selections. But the price increase was smaller at Disney World. Attractions generally increased by $ 2 to $ 3. At Disneyland, we’re seeing bigger increases, with those $ 5 jumps.

If you plan to visit Disneyland today, you may want to be prepared for this price increase. We expect cost increases to continue throughout the weekend, but things are subject to change. And keep in mind that prices may change again in the future.
