While the holidays are usually a quiet time when it comes to Disney news, there have been some pretty important announcements this week. So we are collecting everything up to the most important news so you can catch up.
Walt Disney World Railroad tests
We haven’t seen the Walt Disney World Railroad in Magic Kingdom running in three years due to the construction of TRON Lightcycle Run, but testing has started on the railroad, so that’s something.
The railroad has undergone a renovation during its downtime, and while we may not be able to get on it soon, we are looking forward to reopening it.

EPCOT Arts Festival
We have a lot of new details about EPCOT Arts Festival 2022. We now have a full list of food stands, including three NEW, for the festival. And we have prices for dining packages for the Disney Concert Series on Broadway which returns this year.
We also learned that the Wonderful colorful kitchen walk will be back this year. It will be a fun festival.

Genius at Disneyland
Disney Genie officially launched at Disneyland this week and, well, had a tough start. There were bugs with the service, as well as issues with the DAS (Disabled Access Service) not working properly in the app.
Perhaps most surprising, however, is that the individual attraction selection for Rise of the Resistance was $ 20 – $ 5 more than the highest we’ve seen at Disney World.

Entertainment and events after dark that return to Disneyland
In other Disneyland news, we found out three After Dark events will return in 2022. This includes Night of loves, night of villains, i Star Wars night, which will return to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure in 2022!
Some entertainment will also return to Disneyland next year. Celebrate Gospel !, Tale of the Lion King, The Main Street Electrical Parade, Fantasmic !, World of Color, and the Disneyland Forever Fireworks Spectacular Will back to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure in 2022!
This is in addition to the previously announced return of Electric parade on the main street.

Shang-Chi gets a sequel
In the movie news, Marvel is currently working on a sequel to Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings with Destin director Daniel Cretton directing again.
Disney has not released details on the timing of the new film or when we might see it in theaters, but we’ll let you know when we know.
