If you’ve never done it before, getting into a Disney World park from the outside can be a challenge.
There are so many different options out there monorail, skyliner, ferris, buses, and of course, grab your own car and surf parking lots. The system itself is quite complex as it is, so small bumps can end up having one quite significant impact on your day in the parks!
It’s been quite foggy this morning Magical Kingdom! One of the many ways to get to the park entrance is by Ferri. This option can sometimes it will be a faster and less crowded option than the monorail.
However, ships are not as reliable as other modes of transportation, especially for one thing: weather. If the conditions are not right, taking a ferry can be quite dangerous, so of course they are. closed due to bad weather. We saw it this morning at Magic Kingdom!
This morning has been particularly fog, and therefore the Ferries were not circulating. The Cast Members told us it was due to lack of visibility. What this means, however, is that everyone who planned to catch the ferries had to do so resort to an alternative: the monorail.
The line was backed up fairly quickly and spread far beyond the station.
We know that Disney World queues a lot, but having to wait in an extra queue because of the weather is not fun. At the end of the day, we can’t control the weather, but it might be worth it checking the forecast before leaving for Disney Parks Day so you can choose the best means of transportation!
