Is it the season of MANY new Disney World delights, am I right or am I right?
We’ve been eating all the mint, chocolate and chocolate candies that have been tossed in parks and resorts since the start of the season. Right now, our belts have grown a size or two, but there’s MORE to try! I, today we are going to Disney’s Saratoga Springs to try their last spin on a mint delight!
Last year, Artist’s palette was home to the Peppermint Cupcake, but by 2021, Disney has changed it and now you can pick up the whole NEW Mint foam! It can be found in the refrigerated section for $ 5.99 and it is a mint mousse with a center of sweet candy served on top of a chocolate chip cookie with a white chocolate snowflake on top.
And, if you hadn’t thought that chocolate and mint went hand in hand before, maybe this dessert would convince you! As it is served cold, we found that the treatment was really quite cooling off on a warm Florida winter day (very similar to an Andean mint!). And, while the mousse itself was light, the the mint and chocolate flavors were RICH (something we LOVE in a holiday gift).
That said, the only thing that stumbled upon us was the texture. Both the gloss on top (which also tastes like mint) and the mousse were much more gelatinous compared to other mousses we tested at Disney World. Although, the The cookie bottom added a much needed crunch to the bite. But, we couldn’t pass the dessert presentation when we had a snack ….
So, bottom line is that this is a pleasure to try during your holiday trip, but if you’re a fan of chocolate and mint, then This could be a great way to freshen up when you return to the resort! Plus, while you’re at it, you can pick it up Egg cupcake also, that this year has returned to Artist’s Palette!
