Snack & View: Watch ‘Foodtastic’, a new Disney + art series just in time for the holidays!

The holidays are full of smells and tastes of delicious delights and sounds of holiday joy! For my family, there’s nothing like getting together to bake and decorate Mom’s Christmas sugar cookies while we listen to holiday music. We have fun and I can decorate a big snowman cookie, but our talents are unmatched by any of the latest Disney + series! Well … maybe mom’s talents are being compared!

Starting December 15th, gather the family around the living room to enjoy “Foodtastic,” an immersive world competition where highly skilled artists create extravagant plays and sculptures larger than without food! Each episode is rooted in iconic Disney themes and characters, such as Star Wars, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Toy Story and more!

“Foodtastic” is presented by Keke Palmer, featuring food art experts and judges Amirah Kassem and Benny Rivera.

To celebrate this delicious occasion and in honor of the most magical celebration in the world, I thought I would share with you one of my favorite holiday recipes straight from Golden Oak Outpost in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom Park! This Minnie Gingerbread Almond Cake is the perfect treat to make before watching “Foodtastic” with family and friends!

And while enjoying the smells and tastes of your baked holiday treats, you can choose to enjoy the sounds of your favorite holiday songs on Disney’s Christmas holiday playlist or cooking-themed songs on the Cooking with Disney playlist. Available for listening on music playback platforms!

Share your favorite holiday recipe names in the comments below and don’t forget to watch “Foodtastic” on December 15th, streaming exclusively on Disney +. Have a great and delicious holiday!
