As your trip to Disneyland is receiving an UPDATE

When planning a trip to Disneyland, getting there can be half the battle.

The difference Walt Disney World in Orlando, the area around the park is not owned by Disney, therefore Anaheim can be quite congested with all the hotels, restaurants and gift shops that have appeared over the years to cater to Disneyland guests. Luckily, there are various transportation options for Disneyland, and one of them is about to get more sustainable!

Sage Energy Consulting has announced that they will partner with the Anaheim transport network to develop battery-powered electric buses that will be charged with solar energy, and they will have a route that stops at Disneyland Resort!

This move to electric buses is part of a “Multi-stage plan to reduce … greenhouse gas emissions” and provides additional cost reduction measures through the use of solar-powered charging stations.

And while solar power solutions may be less reliable, these bus charging stations are being equipped with battery safety systems because travelers can always trust them.
