Hi DFB friends! Let’s go back with more unexpected Disney World news of the week, and this week was a little UNUSUAL to say the least.
You may have heard that there was one FIRE at Cinderella Castle (everyone is fine, no one was hurt!) and surprisingly, this is not the only big news of the week! Take a look at all the unexpected that happened there.

The yellow monorail is back
The yellow Monorail is back! This sunny Monorail had ceased to function to receive a new and renewed look.
The interior of the Monorail has been updated with a fresh, bright yellow color, and we were excited to see it back!

Rare princess appearance
At Magic Kingdom’s Princess Fairytale Hall, the usual princesses featured include Tiana, Rapunzel, Cinderella, and Elena. Occasionally a mysterious princess visits, and this week they took care of us a RARE princess look – Jasmine!
It is not uncommon for Princess Jasmine to visit Magic Kingdom and during our visit In fact, we were able to see FIVE Disney Princesses! So if you’re in Magic Kingdom and you see a “Visiting Princess” sign, it might be worth a visit!
Here are more photos of Princess Jasmine!
We’ve seen most of our time at Disney World and this week has been something you don’t see very often! There was a fog as thick one morning as the Magic Kingdom ferries could not transport guests safely from the Transportation and Ticketing Center (TTC) to the gates of the Magic Kingdom.
As a result, the Monorail line has become VERY long, and these are moments worth remembering. you can also take a bus from TTC to Magic Kingdom!

Probably the most shocking news of the week was the fire near Cinderella Castle. After a cast member reported a small fire, emergency response vehicles were sent to Cinderella Castle, prompting fire and rescue vehicles to approach Main Street, USA.
Royal Cinderella Table was evacuated, as well as the surroundings of the castle. The fire was quickly extinguished and no one was injured, and the next day everything returned to normal! Another day at Disney World, where it’s not always a walk in the park.
