Monday, December 27th the week will start with temperatures quite consistent with what we have been seeing. The week starts warmer during the day and cooler at night.
There is a very slight chance of rain on Monday forecast, but this should be a mostly dry week. You may just have to dodge the weird shower towards the end of the week. As always, a raincoat never hurts Orlando!
The next day December 28th brings us a similar forecast with fairly warm temperatures during the day! The 82 degrees can be MUCH warmer than you are used to at home this time of year.
You will notice that there is a DRASTIC drop in temperatures to the drops. This is a total difference of 20 degrees between high and low! It may be a good idea to pack a coat in case it gets a little cold once it’s night. 62 degrees can feel a little cooler than you expected!
Wednesday, December 29th, we will see that the temperatures will fluctuate a little again, but not too much. Therefore, we will see the heat of the mid 80’s in the hottest part of the day. Your temperature will drop to 64 degrees.
For most of the week, we should see a good mix of clouds and sun. Hopefully, this means we will have beautiful days without it being too bright.
For thursday December 30th, we are seeing almost exactly the same temperatures in the mid 80’s and an evening at 65 degrees. Wow! It’s a comfortable night!
Take a look at this week’s high humidity! This can make the heat feel hotter and a colder colder! Be prepared to be a little less comfortable than you would expect from these temperatures.
The week continues with a small drop in temperature during the day and a steady night on December 31st. Hopefully these temperatures are comfortable as you will be counting down until midnight!
The 65 degrees may not seem cold, depending on where you come from. But if you wear short sleeves and shorts at 80 degrees all day long, you might be surprised at how cool those 60 degrees feel!
Saturday, January 1 it gives us more consistent temperatures and a slightly higher probability of rain. Still, it looks like the first day of 2022 will be BEAUTIFUL for Orlando.
Keep in mind that the days are shorter at this time of year. This week’s days usually start around 7:15 and the sun sets around 17:40.
And we will end the week January 2 with still comfortable temperatures and a beautiful sunny day and mixed clouds. The day will still be warm at almost 80 degrees, but get ready for another night of low 60s.
This day also has the highest chance of rain of the week. From now on, it looks like we’ll stay dry. However, don’t forget to keep checking the change forecast!

Tips for dealing with time!
So what are our best tips for packing when it comes to this week’s forecast?
Pack these layers!
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again. Layers are the key to staying comfortable during the cooler seasons in Florida. Orlando has a tendency to ball between HOT temperatures during the day and surprisingly cold temperatures at night.
If you wear a coat, you may feel uncomfortable for part of the day. Wear a light scarf or jacket to put on when the temperatures drop so you can be comfortable whether the sun is shining or you are watching the fireworks at 60 degrees!

Now, these nights may be perfect, but we are still watching the hot, sunny days, and the Florida sun can be INTENSIVE. We want to make sure you feel comfortable and SAFE when you walk real miles with the heat.
Be sure to apply sunscreen and reapply it often, take breaks when you need them, and drink a LOT of water. You may not be used to the level of activity required for a Disney day, so make sure you listen to what your body needs.
