PHOTOS: This little change means big things to Disney World Transportation


Oh Magic express, how we will miss you! The free bus service between Disney World and Orlando International Airport is in its final days of operation, with paid services such as Mears Connect replacing it in 2022.

Today, we saw a big sign (literally) that the Magical Express was about to come out.

At the Contemporary Resort, we spotted a change: the the free Magical Express, which will stop in late 2021, has been officially changed to a new sign for airport transportation, which will include Mears Connect i The Sunshine Flyer, two of the new substitutes for Magical Express.

Mears Connect is ready to launch 2022 with a new paid service between Disney World and Orlando International Airport, which offers both standard and express transportation. With standard, Costa $ 16 per adult and $ 13.50 per child for one-way trips o $ 32 per adult and $ 27 per child round trip. With express, Costa $ 200 for four passengers and $ 55 for each additional passenger. Mears Connect previously operated the Magical Express service and we have already started detecting Mears buses for Disney World.

The Sunshine Flyer will also be launched in early 2022 with a similar paid service between Disney World and the airport, offering only a standard option. A standard trip to The Sunshine Flyer will cost you $ 17 per adult and $ 12.50 per child for one-way travel o $ 34 per adult and $ 25 per child round trip.

If buses aren’t your style, how about a train? Bright line A new rail service is planned to take you from Orlando International Airport to Disney Springs, but the project will not be completed until around 2026.
